Pink Kunzite Jewelry Gives A Feminine Look |

Kunzite is a gemstone gaining popularity. Its delicate pink color with
a hint of violet gives it a feminine look. Kunzite is a member of the
spodumene family. It was discovered in 1902 and named after George F.
Kunz. It is mainly found in Afghanistan, Madagascar, Brazil and USA.

sizes at affordable prices. A deep pink color is more valuable than
pale pink. Sometimes, radiation is used to enhance its color. Color of
Kunzite can fade in direct sunlight. Kunzite is relatively hard, with
hardness between 6 and 7 on the Mohs Scale. But like a diamond, it has
distinct cleavage and can be broken by a sharp blow in the wrong place.
Kunzite can be cleaned in gentle soapy water and with a soft
toothbrush. Do not use home ultrasonic cleaner.
