Tombées des Nues

Tombées des Nues is the Lyon-based design team of Stéphanie Lapendry-Boudier and Cécile Liard whose practice took off around the theme of lighting, but has grown to include a wider variety of accessories as well. For Maison & Objet, Tombées des Nues presented La Comtesse, a metal lamp with cut outs, a distant relative of Madame De, a polypropylene chandelier. There is more lighting after the jump: Patch Light consists of an aluminium base, a transparent panel and 4 adhesive designs that allow intricate shadows to be cast upon the wall. Promenade en Foret (A Walk in the Woods) is a lighting system composed of 3 trunks of different shades and pattens of green. The fabric trees are set upon a clear base. Oisse is a leaf-shaped lamp on a stem that stretches from floor to ceiling. Last, but not least, we have the Parure de Table polypropylene table mat series, which includes Baroque and Nénuphar (Water Lily).
