Do you have a hobby? something you really enjoy doing in your spare time? Maybe you have considered that you can spend more time on your hobby and less time at work. Maybe it's not a difficult thing to do. Perhaps you can do both at the same time.

When choosing a career, one of the things you must consider is your interest. After all, no one ever said your hobby had to stay separated from your occupation. The combination of interest and a job is very attractive to everyone.

"Who's going to hire someone who loves gardening?" you may ask. Maybe you don't have to wait for some one to hire you. You can even start your own. That may be the best way to incorporate your hobby into your career. Those with hobbies that involve creating things, like clothing, or pottery, may do well to sell those items on their own. But before starting you business, you should think over whether being an entrepreneur is suitable for you.

If it isn't, you can still turn your hobby into a career, but you may have to get some formal training. For example, a person who likes to design jewelry probably knows the latest jewelry styles and has an understanding of what kind of styles look good on different people, but she might not know all the details about trading. First she should know what she is going to do about jewelry: to become a jewelry buyer for a department store or a salesperson in a jewelry store, or to become a jeweler. Then she need to decide what kind of training she should take. She can go to school to learn how to be a jewelry designer. Or, she can take courses at a trade school. Start practice on eBay :-)

When you attempt to turn your hobby into a career, don't forget to do your homework. Even though you may think that you are so good at you hobby, but that doesn't mean you can do the job well. You should always think it over because there may be aspects of the hobby that just aren't suitable for you to turn into a career. In that case, stick to your day job and save your hobby for your free time.
