Family Watch Dog is offering a online map for sex offenders. Simply typing your address, the tool will list all the known sex offenders in the local area in a google map. What is "creepy" is that, with a single click, you can actually see the faces of the sex offenders. My feeling for the tool is mixed. On one side, I feel this is a step backwards on online privacy. In addition, it will have big impact for those whoe want to get back to the normal life. On the other side, women and children can use the tool to better protect themselves in the neighbourhood.
