Foolproof Ways to Organize Your Vacation Photos
It's easy to take a lot of vacation pictures; organizing them is something else. Here, how to chronicle your favorite shots for future posterity.

Edit Yourself
The key to scaling down your photo stockpiles: edit, edit, edit. It's all right if every shot is not a winner — not even the pros bat 1,000 — but it's not all right to cling to every frame as if it were an Ansel Adams original.

Simple Signs of Love

Holding hands is a simple, yet deep, way of sharing and connecting with our loved one. When is the last time you held hands with your partner?

True signs
Not long ago I ventured downtown to do a little shopping. Walking from one store to another, I spied a bench sitting in a shady spot along the sidewalk and decided to take a break from shopping to enjoy one of my favorite past-times; people watching.

Out of the hustling and bustling crowd, two people in particular caught my eye. They were an elderly couple - late sixties or so, and were slowly strolling down the sidewalk. What drew my attention to them was they were holding hands. This was somehow touching to me.

5 Winter Beauty Dos

Trends come & trends go. This season you certainly don't want to be caught in public looking like last year. I've read all the magazines for you & come up with the best & worst trends for winter.

1: Goodbye Helmet Head.

The less done your hair looks, the more 'in' you'll look. You'll notice trendy hair this season looks loose, wavy & fresh. To mimic it, throw out the hairspray, use a light mousse instead of gel to add texture & don't be afraid to let your roots grow out, just a bit.

2: Keep the self-tanner.

Yes, we love Nicole Kidman's porcelein skin too, but there's nothing sexier than a bronzed glow in the dead of winter.

Lucy Gao - watch what you wrote
Lucy Gao became an instant hit when she hit the "send" button to email out her 21st birthday party invites to the friends at Citi Group. The email, see below, was then forwarded out of Citi-group, and eventually sent to several newspapers and out of control.

Whether the email is intended to be funny or not, it did not turns out that way. My guess is that her financial career is over now.
The lesson? Always be careful about what you are writing. In today's blog and social networking time, news travels fast, especially funny and bad ones.  Clear mark the message if people might interpret it in different ways. Say it, not write it.  And assume everyone in the world could get a copy as well.

Tips for Dealing With Negative Coworkers

Having coworkers who are always complaining? Deal with genuinely negative people by spending as little time with them as possible. Just as you set limits with the coworkers whose negativity you believe is baseless or unwarranted, you need to set limits with negative people. You can deal with them in these ways.

  • Avoid spending time with a negative coworker.
  • If you are forced, through your role in the company, to work with a negative person, set limits. Do not allow yourself to be drawn into negative discussions. Tell the negative coworker, you prefer to think about your job positively.
  • Suggest the negative person seek assistance from human resources or their supervisor.
  • If all else fails, talk to your own supervisor or human resources staff about the challenges you are experiencing in dealing with the negative person. Your supervisor may have ideas, may be willing to address the negativity, and may address the issue with the negative person’s supervisor.
  • If negativity among employees in your company is persistent, and the negativity affects your ability to professionally perform your work, you may want to consider moving on. Your current culture will not support your desired work environment. And, if no one is working to improve a work culture that enables negativity, don’t expect the culture to change any time soon.
